About The Practice
Bamburgh Eye Care was established in 2013 by Dr. Krystal Chan, as a side-by-side optometry clinic, focusing on primary eye care and ocular health management. In 2017, the practice expanded to include myopia management by dispensing orthoKeratology lenses, and prescribing atropine therapy and specialty HALT lenses. In 2023, our clinic renovated and rebranded into a full scope dispensing practice.
Bamburgh Eye Care is open 7 days a week and has three optometrists rotating between the work days. During the 2023 renovations, a second exam lane was created for a potential fourth optometrist.
Bamburgh Eye Care has automated pretesting machines, an OCT with fundus photography, a visual field perimeter, and a corneal topographer. Our experienced staff and opticians will perform all the preliminary pretesting measurements, visual field tests, and any required spectacle measurements.
Our clinic is conveniently located in the Bamburgh Gardens plaza in Scarborough. There is ample free parking and a variety of restaurants nearby.
